Yamapi does (tries) romantic comedy! Only, he's really just Yamapi, acting like a reticent, slightly girlish boring person that Rei (ick) somehow likes anyway. Really, Tada Sensei was the right choice, since you and Pi just really weren't that awesome. I don't care how much Kenzou liked Rei, their entire relationship as portrayed by this show was that of people who are friends because the author said so, not because they had any particular rapport with each other. The 3 supporting characters, they were wonderful, but Rei was just a "good girl", Ken was actually just Pi to look hot, and poor, poor Tada Sensie was too pure and good for his own good. Feh. It was fun for a while, and I rooted for Ken, but then it just got STUPID. Grr.

But I liked the ending. I guess it had to be that way, and the smile on Pi's face when he heard Rei call him, was almost worth the frustration.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e 1

OMGOMGOMGZOMG

No really, this is just going to be fun. And I guess Horikita Maki (did I get that right?) will be okay as Mizuki. It's been a really long time since I read the manga, I'd totally forgotten what a bastard Sano was at the beginning. And the scene where one of the guys grabs Mizuki's chest to see if she's really a he, I was impressed to see it on jtv, since all the kiss scenes are so horrible. And of course, it's got all those silly random special effects that get used in shows made from mangas, and just look corny and would have been better off not being added at all.

Hanayome wa Yakudoshi 1-6

The bride in her unlucky year. Goes to live on a farm with a bunch of wierdos, to pretend she's engaged to their oldest brother, and a crazy strict woman who tells you EXACTLY what she things of you. But only if you ask. And the MFC is pretty nutso too, and Koyama makes an adorable psychotic peachfarming youth with a peach allergy and a desperate beed to go to Tokyo, and the only normal one is the poor sucker she's pretending to marry.

I NEED Kioku to get free time again so they can sub more, because they've left me high and dry midway! And not because I have to see the inevitable marriage at the end. I like the crazy sister with the hot boyfriend or whatever who lays curces on the FMC.

Liar Game 1-10

This drama is so incredibly, frighteningly addictive. I read a forum somewhere where they suggested it might be like another Kurosagi, but seriously it is SO MUCH BETTER (sorry P). The action, and certain aspects of the premise, are certainly corny, and the screwball characters are overacted and Nao is like the stupidest person EVAR but Akiyama is such a compelling character, especially the longer you watch and find out more about WHY he's participating in the Liar Game.

One of the things I like about the show a lot is the production itself. The episodes aren't stand alone units, the just kind of . . . end. . . in the middle of a game or sequence of actions, and you want to tear your hair out waiting for the next episode. And then it just kind of, goes on. It's kind of like, writing the episode and instead of editing, just, going forward as it is as far as you can, and it works really well.

Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru 1

So like, I knew Shige was in it, but that's not why I watched it girls, okay? I thought the premise was interesting. Falling in love with an "ugly" girl. And described as busu, that's really, really, a nasty thing to call someone. It's kind of interesting, to see just how cruel people can be. There's one scene in there where the busu is dancing in a swan ballet thingie of somem kind and they edited the filming to exclude her. fuckers. And of course, the guy who will fall in love with her is a total prick at first, in addition to being quiite attractive. I really wish she hadn't fallen for himin THE FIRST EPISODE, whatever. Eventually I'll watch more.

Beauty or Beast 1-4

It's. . . interesting? Super high powered woman makes ratings for a failing news show, with the help from the former variety show guy who got transfereed because he liked girls to omuch and fraternized with the geinoukai or something. It's all right. And, I swear, I know its not the same guy, but Hiromi or whatever his name is reminds me of the moron guy in Gachibaka.

Hana Yori Dango 2 1-3

Yep. Just as infuriating as ever. Yep. Jun was Tha Awesome choice for Domyouji. Wahaha.

Glass Mask Series 1 and 2

A young girl, bad at everying else, is FING GOOD AT ACTING because she can put of her Mask.

Okay, it was interesting. For a while. Then it just got tedius. Maya is the miracle actress, as long as she can do rediculous stuff for a while to understand her character and put on her mask, she's a spectacular actress, but random stuff like an apple core on the street can make her unable to act and drag on for a while until the purple rose guy pulls her hair and tells her she has cooties and her sensei has to collapes AGAIN and then she can act. Oh, and her mother dies, and her brother, and stuff, so she's got a lot of hurdles to overcome to be DA BEST. It's like, shounen sports manga, only with girl themes instead.
